MISSION

    We are committed to freedom of expression and communication with responsibility;

    We support new and diverse forms of artistic inquiry with integrity;

    We support the international arts community with positive vision in the spirit of cooperation;

    We believe in taking risks daily and find new solutions in the face of major systematic confusion;

    We are looking for a network of like-minded colleagues and resources for information, dialogue and shared problem-solving;

    Together, with visions of fairness and justice, we as ARTISTS can recognize our power to make positive social change.

    The Journal is dedicated to the fine arts from a universal, perspective. Several assumptions underlie the focus of the Journal: that the most important efforts Artists can achieve is to create works that move the global community to want to improve the human condition and seek systematic and sustainable change. The Journal as a foundation holds to the idea that human progress requires reducing inequities in the distribution of power and resources. And that world art community is an essential instrument of constructive change. The Journal's effectiveness depends in part on its capacity to learn from others, including Artists, about the problems confronting global society.
