Academic Program Director, Media Arts & Animation, Game Art & Design, October 2009 – present. Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  

Responsibilities:Management and leadership of over 70 Faculty Supervisors, Full-Time and Part-Time Faculty on a daily basis. Ensure faculty members are in compliance with EDMC OHE policies, educational institution policies, and Middle States accreditation standards. Investigate and resolve faculty problems requiring academic actions.  Supervise faculty scheduling. Participate in the faculty evaluation process. Provide feedback concerning faculty performance and arrange for faculty mentors as needed. Establish and evaluate appropriate faculty training. Provide subject/program consultation, training, and support within EDMC OHE Educational Services and other OHE functional areas. Collaborate in the curriculum development process for online MAA and GAD programs and courses. Investigate and resolve student problems, work to increase student persistence and faculty retention. Communicate regularly and effectively on program-related issues and topics with appropriate academic leadership.  Define, clarify and articulate the desired future state of the programs; involve key stakeholders in the implementation of change, actively lead the change process to achieve the desired state, and build commitment to the desired future state.

Responsibilities: Providing competency based education to students through imparting knowledge, developing career abilities, and instilling professional attitudes within a creative and enthusiastic learning environment. Delivers learner centered, instruction through distance delivery mechanisms. Encourages student success and manages the online class environment as well as contributing to a culture of learning. Relating industry experience to students, in addition, fulfilling administrative and developmental responsibilities, including advising students in order to enhance their education experience. Responsibilities also included the supervision and appraisal of adjunct faculty’s performance, including the quality of performance in fulfilling the adjunct faculty responsibilities.

Manage faculty/student advising and supervise course scheduling. Investigate and resolve faculty problems requiring academic actions.  Monitor and check active courses for quality assurance. Participate in the faculty evaluation process. Provide feedback concerning faculty performance. Provide subject/program consultation, training, and support. Collaborate in the curriculum development process for the Graphic Design and the Interior Architecture programs and courses. Investigate and resolve student problems.

Professional Artist, 1993 - present, Production includes: oil paintings, works on paper, mixed media and sculpture. Exhibiting works of art internationally in group and solo exhibitions including the United States, England, Morocco, Italy, Japan, Spain and Morocco.

Business Owner and Art Director, 1998- present, ARTWORK International Systems, Orlando, Florida. Design and develop websites, animation, video and interactive media projects for schools and businesses.
