Developing
or Revitalizing Your Web Site - This workshop
looks at the big picture of Web development, including.:
establishing timelines, considering the flow of information,
reviewing design options, organizing your Web space and
maximizing the effectiveness of your Web pages through content
and images. Handouts included.

to Dreamweaver MX
- Explore the possibilities
of more dynamic web site creation with the latest version
of Dreamweaver! Participants will become familiar with menus,
tools and project management capabilities. Practical instruction
in basic layout/design, including tables, links, and inserting
images. How to create and insert FLASH buttons and FLASH text
will also be covered! Handouts included.

Scanning
Text and Images - Topics covered include
turning a printed page into a Word or a PDF document, scanning
photographs, slides or drawings into images for display
on the web or to be printed.

Preparing
Images for Presentations and the Web - Topics
covered include the basic steps to prepare an image to be
displayed on a computer whether in a Power Point presentation
or on the web. Learn how to take a photograph, scan it into
Photoshop, adjust the image and file size, and then save
it to your web space. For more in-depth training in Photoshop,
attend the "Intro to Photoshop" workshop.

Introduction
to Photoshop - Learn to use Photoshop
to create your own graphics or manipulate photographs.
This workshop covers using the tool palette,image
settings, cropping, resizing, color adjustments,
retouching, and adding text. This workshop covers
much of the same material as the Photoshop Elements
workshop.

- Photoshop
Elements - Photoshop Elements is a less expensive
version of Photoshop for users who do not need the advanced
features of Photoshop. Prepare digital images for electronic
media and print using Photoshop Elements. Workshop covers
cropping, resizing, color adjustments, retouching, and adding
text, as well as features that are exclusive to Photoshop
Elements. This workshop covers much of the same material as
the Introduction to Photoshop workshop.

to Out Look Express Mail - This workshop is designed
with I.E.'s desktop mail client can be used to read, send,
save e-mail and news. In addition to the basics, we will
also discuss virus protection and handling attachments.

"Pine" users in mind. Learn how Netscape's desktop
mail client can be used to read, send, save e-mail and news.

Excel

Using Excel
- Using Excel Workshop is designed to provide the user with
a basic understanding in the use and creation of excel files
- focusing on retrieving an excel spreadsheet as an attachment,
locating specific data, working with spreadsheets and workbooks,
using print areas. It also covers basic spreadsheet operations
such as using simple formulas, fill commands, formatting,
copying and pasting and moving, clearing and editing cells.
At the end of the workshop, each student should be able
to create, edit, format and print a simple spreadsheet.
Each student should also be able to receive and send the
spreadsheet as a simple attachment, filter data and set
print areas.

Advanced Excel
- The Advanced Excel Workshop is designed to provide users
with an introduction to some of the more advanced functions
in Excel. The topics covered include formatting and presenting
worksheets and tables using freeze panes and worksheet templates;
retrieving external data into Excel worksheets using the
Query Wizard; exporting Excel tables and charts into external
programs (Word, Powerpoint, Internet pages); exploring data
in Excel for analysis using filtering and pivot tables;
the use of formulas in worksheets; setting up pages for
printing Excel tables; and chart creation and formatting
in Excel.
